On The Day It's Due
A release schedule only works if it is kept. First cuts come back within 48 hours and final files land on the day they are promised — not the day after.
About The Studio · Jesup, GA
Narrasonic is a small production room on W Orange Street. We have spent years doing one thing — turning raw tape into finished shows that publish on time — and we would rather the work spoke for us than the adjectives.
Why The Room Exists · 01
The studio began with a simple observation: most podcasts do not fail in the recording. They fail in the weeks after — the edit that never gets finished, the episode that slips, the sound that drifts a little further off each month until nobody can say why the show stopped feeling right.
Narrasonic was set up to take that burden entirely. A client records; we handle everything between the raw file and the published feed. Direction, cleanup, structure, mixing, mastering, show notes, and delivery all sit under one roof and one invoice — no coordinating three freelancers and hoping their work matches.
We are not a large shop, and we do not intend to become one. The roster stays small so that the standard stays constant across an entire season — and across the years a good show runs.
What We Hold To · 02
A release schedule only works if it is kept. First cuts come back within 48 hours and final files land on the day they are promised — not the day after.
The people who mix your first episode mix your hundredth. Tone, loudness, and pacing stay consistent because the hands behind them never quietly change.
Spoken-word episodes are delivered at −16 LUFS so your show is level with every other podcast in a listener's queue. No surprises in the volume knob.
Inside The Booth · 03
Large-diaphragm condensers on booms, close-miked in a treated vocal booth so the room never shows up in the recording.
Clean preamps and 24-bit conversion capture the whole dynamic range of a voice with headroom to spare.
Dead air, stumbles, mouth noise, and cross-talk removed by hand — the conversation keeps its rhythm, the clutter goes.
Dialogue balanced against music beds and effects on calibrated monitors, checked on earbuds, phone speakers, and in the car.
Loudness matched to the −16 LUFS spoken-word target, true-peak limited, then tagged and exported publishing-ready.
The People · 04
Narrasonic is run by a tight team of engineers and producers who have spent their careers in spoken-word audio — interviews, narrative series, and branded shows for businesses that want to sound like themselves, not like an advertisement.
We keep the client list small enough that we can answer the phone, direct a session, and know your show's quirks by name. When you call, you reach the person doing the work — not an account manager relaying messages.
Send a note about your show — the format, how often you'd publish, and whether you already have tape. We'll reply with a tier recommendation and the next open session.
